Aimee N. Logan

Lead Deputy County Counsel

Aimee Logan leads the Office of the County Counsel's Labor and Employment team. She joined the Office in 2015. Aimee is the primary advisor to the County's Equal Opportunity Department and also provides labor and employment advice to the Employee Services Agency, District Attorney's Office, Pretrial Services, Public Health Department, and numerous other County departments, as well as the Board of Supervisors. Aimee has extensive labor and employment litigation and counseling experience with both private and public employers in matters related to hiring, discipline, and termination; discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; employment investigations; statutory leave rights; disability and reasonable accommodation; wage and hour compliance under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Labor Code; and creation and implementation of written employment policies. She has also represented the County and its employees in state and federal courts, including in the Ninth Circuit, in a variety of civil litigation matters. Before joining the Office of the County Counsel, Aimee was an associate at Cooley LLP in the employment and labor and general litigation practice groups.​
