Claire Cormier

Deputy County Counsel

Claire T. Cormier joined the Office of the County Counsel’s Civil Rights and Tort Litigation and Employment Litigation Teams in 2019. She represents the County in a range of civil matters. Prior to joining the office, Claire was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of California, where she represented the federal government in defensive civil cases. While with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Claire served terms as Senior Litigation Counsel and Civil Appellate Chief.
