Cristina Stella
Deputy County Counsel
Cristina Stella joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2023. She is a member of the Environment and Land Use Team and the Finance and Government Operations Team. Previously Cristina practiced high-impact environmental and administrative law primarily focused on agriculture-related issues at the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Center for Food Safety, two Bay Area nonprofit organizations. Cristina also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Warren M. Silver on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Prior to becoming an attorney, Cristina worked to support sustainable local food systems in Portland, Oregon.
