Kim H. Hara

Deputy County Counsel

Kim H. Hara joined the Office of the County Counsel's Litigation Section in 2018. Kim represents the County and individual County employees in state and federal courts in a variety of litigation matters. Before joining the office, Kim handled civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, primarily involving claims of medical malpractice and elder abuse against public entities, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Kim also handled appellate writs and appeals.

 Kim's professional expertise includes:

  • Civil litigation, including claims of medical malpractice, elder abuse, public entity liability, premises liability, and other torts
