Laura S. Trice
Lead Deputy County Counsel
Laura joined the Impact Litigation and Social Justice Section of the Office of the County Counsel in 2015. She litigates affirmative cases on behalf of the County and the People of the State of California under California’s False Advertising Law, False Claims Act, and other laws. She also helps develop County legislation and policy initiatives aimed at improving the health, working, and living conditions of County residents. Prior to joining the Office of the County Counsel, Laura litigated cases on behalf of workers, unions, and students as an associate at Altshuler Berzon LLP. During and prior to law school, Laura worked with organizations advocating for immigrants’ rights and humane immigration policy.
