Nandini K. Iyer
Deputy County Counsel
Nandini Iyer joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2017 and is a member of the Child Dependency Unit. Nandini advises the Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) in juvenile dependency matters, including representing DFCS in trials, statutory hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings. Before joining the Office of the County Counsel, Nandini practiced juvenile dependency law at the County of Alameda’s Office of the County Counsel, and was an associate at Jones Day where her practice focused on government and internal investigations, and privacy compliance.
