Susan P. Greenberg

Deputy County Counsel

Susan P. Greenberg joined the Litigation and Social Justice and Impact Litigation sections in 2018.  She represents the County in a range of civil matters, litigates affirmative cases on behalf of the County and the People of the State of California, and helps to develop initiatives intended to advance economic and social justice and improve the well-being of County residents.  Prior to joining the office, Susan briefed and supervised appeals as senior appellate counsel for the City of New York and litigated commercial, antitrust, and intellectual property matters at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.  Susan has first-chaired over a dozen jury trials, argued appeals in state and federal court, advised a variety of municipal agencies and public officers, and drafted state and local legislation.
