Yoo-Rah Lee
Deputy County Counsel
Yoo-Rah Lee joined the County Counsel’s Office in August 1998. She is assigned to the Workers’ Compensation section. Her main focus is on litigation and management of the County’s workers’ compensation claims. She has successfully resolved hundreds of workers’ compensation cases, reached global resolutions with vendors, and provided return to work advice to various departments. She provides training to the client on the current legal developments, trends, and preventive strategies in workers’ compensation law, as well as general workers’ compensation training to various departments. She was a presenter at the What Makes Workers’ Compensation Work Conference. She was also on the committee and provided general advice to the Public Safety Industrial Disability Retirement Committee.
