Overview
Erin Emily Pritchard Liem joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2017 and is a member of the Child and Family Protection Team. Erin advises the Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) in juvenile dependency matters, including representing DFCS in court proceedings. Before joining the Child and Family Protection Team, Erin practiced in the Office’s General Government section, advising a range of County departments and agencies, including the Department of Tax and Collections and the Child Abuse Prevention Council. Erin’s professional expertise includes children’s welfare, government contracting and procurement, taxation, open government law, including the Brown Act and the California Public Records Act, land use and planning, including affordable housing, environmental law, and sustainability, intellectual property, and complex civil litigation.
