Michael C. Serverian

Deputy County Counsel

Michael C. Serverian joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2013 in the Office’s Litigation section.  Michael currently litigates cases in state and federal courts representing the County and its individual employees in a variety of litigation matters including claims against the Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Correction.  Michael also practices in the area of employment litigation. Michael has tried numerous cases to verdict for a variety of public entities in both federal and state courts.

Michael’s professional expertise includes:

• Civil litigation including claims of constitutional violations against law enforcement officers/correctional officers, employment litigation and premise liability
• Appellate litigation
