Social Justice and Impact Litigation Fellow

Overview

Tayryn Edwards joined the Social Justice and Impact Litigation Team in the Office of the County Counsel in 2023.  Her practice focuses on affirmative litigation and policy designed to advance social and economic justice.  Before joining the Office, Tayryn served as a law clerk to Judge Jennifer Sung on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Justice Leondra Kruger on the California Supreme Court. Tayryn’s professional expertise includes appellate litigation, affirmative litigation, constitutional law, and civil rights law.
